Annual Mithila Heritage Exhibition Series
A recurring exhibition series dedicated to showcasing master artists, emerging artists, and thematic collections focused on the artistic and cultural legacy of Mithila.
Mithila Center USA’s art and cultural exhibitions are designed to preserve the visual language of Mithila while presenting it to wider and more diverse audiences. These exhibitions highlight traditional and contemporary Mithila art, showcase artists from Nepal, India, and the diaspora, and create spaces where heritage can be experienced with both authenticity and relevance. The organization’s exhibitions often go beyond display alone. They serve as platforms for education, cultural storytelling, artistic exchange, and dialogue around social themes. Many exhibitions have connected Mithila art with the Sustainable Development Goals, showing how traditional folk art can contribute to global conversations on climate, equality, education, and environmental responsibility.
