Community Advocacy and Cultural Celebrations

Mithila Center USA’s community programs bring people together to celebrate identity, preserve collective memory, and create greater public visibility for Mithila heritage. These events serve as spaces for celebration, dialogue, cultural pride, and community solidarity. Community advocacy is an important part of the organization’s work. It is reflected not only in public cultural events, but also in efforts to build awareness, recognition, and representation for Mithila heritage in civic, educational, and multicultural spaces. Through festivals, observances, partnerships, and public engagement, Mithila Center USA helps strengthen the cultural voice of the community while inviting others to learn and participate.
